Governance: In accordance with the Bylaws, Board Officer & Member nominations are held in March and elections are held in April for terms effective July 1-June 30 for the following school year.
We invite you to attend our monthly Teach Booster Board Meetings, volunteer at one of our many exciting events and share your ideas for the future of Teach School.
When: 3rd Friday of each month
Where: School Library + Zoom (hybrid)
How to join: Link posted on ParentSquare the week before
Calendar: Dates are listed on the Teach Elementary School Calendar
The high level of parent involvement at Teach is one of the strengths of our school, and we are eager for you join in the fun! Your involvement helps Teach Elementary make a profound, positive impact on our students as they grow intellectually, socially, emotionally, and creatively and as they develop into future contributors to our diverse, global community.
Parent volunteers make a difference in our students' lives in many ways:
As elective instructors to teach 5 week in the Fall and/or Winter.
As helpers or organizers for:
Tiger Challenge and other fundraisers
Community building events
Staff-led events
As room parents to organize classroom events
As chaperones for extended overnight study trips for 3-5 days off work.
*Please note that chaperone spots are limited and chosen by the staff to meet the needs of the students.
*Chaperones are responsible for their own costs (meals, lodging and/or transportation) on these overnight study trips.
If you are interested in volunteering for any of these activities as a helper or organizer please fill out the following contact form.
We’re looking for 1–3 volunteers to coordinate one (or more) of our easy, year-round fundraising programs: Just Porch It, Ralph’s Community Rewards, and RaiseRight gift cards.
What you’ll do:
Read the program details and confirm the correct sign-up steps
Create a simple flyer (and optional IG/ParentSquare graphics)
Help run a low-lift awareness campaign so more Teach families participate (your ideas welcome!)
Time & flexibility: No set deadline. Work on your own schedule. This is a great fit if you like simple projects, clear tasks, and making a measurable impact.
Interested?
